Samsung has removed its announcement regarding the U.S. rollout of One UI 7, initially set for April 10, casting uncertainty over the update’s availability in the region. The global rollout remains scheduled for April 7, but the revised U.S. timeline remains unclear.
Samsung originally stated that One UI 7 would begin rolling out to Galaxy phone users in the United States on April 10, following a global release three days earlier. The update was expected to be available first on the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 models. However, the company has now deleted the U.S. newsroom post announcing the release date, first spotted by SammyFans.
The removal of the U.S. announcement post raises questions about potential delays or changes to the release schedule. While Samsung has not provided an official explanation, related newsroom posts referencing the global April 7 release remain online. Notably, the Canadian newsroom post still lists an April 10 release date.
Social media posts from Samsung’s U.S. accounts mentioning the rollout have also disappeared, though a March 20 post on X remains live. Clicking the announcement post’s link, however, leads to a “no page found” message.
One UI 7 is a highly anticipated update among Samsung users, bringing several improvements over its predecessor. The update was initially expected to launch alongside the Galaxy S25 series in January but faced delays. The official announcement in April confirmed a release, though its timeline now appears uncertain for U.S. users.
While customers in other regions prepare for the April 7 rollout, those in the U.S. may face additional waiting time. Samsung has yet to issue an official statement.
